CarrierCOM was established by a group of South Texas businessmen in 1998 to provide protocol conversion services and circuits into Mexico. McAllen Texas is one of the major fiber-optic corridors for telecommunications traffic into and out of Mexico.
CarrierCOM provided a carrier-neutral position that enabled a wide variety of U.S. carriers and Mexican concessionaires to co-locate and interconnect with each other.
Located in the Chase building, CarrierCOM is at the center of connectivity for many carriers, Internet providers and VoIP operators.
